Artists at musicpark
(Status July 2019)
The first artists have already announced their participation. They will perform in different "sweatbloodtears boxes" - unique sound cabins - on stage and at the College and Academy.
The power duo Will Hunt (drums) and Jen Majura (guitar), better known as members of the US band EVANESCENCE will be present on all three days.
They have been on a world tour for the last two years with the show "Evanescence Synthesis." The concerts were sold out in the famous Sydney Opera House in Australia and in many other venues in Asia and America. Straight from their European tour, Jen Majura and Will Hunt will rock the musicpark every day.
Michael Schack from Belgium is one of the best Drum & Beats ambassadors. Together with Netsky he has rocked festivals all over the world and has a very successful solo act. The drummer plays in stadiums for more than 10,000 people in the neighbouring Netherlands and Belgium. The name Michael Schack is synonymous with hard-hitting live electro beats. And at musicpark he is one of the stars you can get to know on any of the three days.
Jost Nickel is known beyond Germany these days as a top drummer. With Jan Delay & Disko No1 he not only plays groovy beats at festivals, but also passes on his understanding for perfect fills at Drum College.
Jimmy Kresic, arranger, producer, keyboardist and sound designer is the jack-of-all-trades on the international keyboard scene. As the central figure in Rock Meets Classic, he is responsible for orchestral arrangements and musical direction. Stars like Alice Cooper, Ian Gillan from Deep Purple or Steve Lukather from Toto trust his skills on stage.
Malcolm Arison from The BossHoss will perform live in the sweatbloodtears box Band & Orchestra. He merges rock, blues & country into a new genre. He will also be passing on his knowledge at the musicpark Academy.
The flute player Nina Sivošová plays with the pianist and the first cello of the Czech State Orchestra in the new Band & Orchestra box. During the past few months, she has successfully toured from Stockholm to New York with LED ZEPPELIN Masters. As part of musicpark she performs classical music in its most beautiful form and presents new sounds with an extraordinary line-up.
Another classical highlight will be the performances from CrossCellos. Without a doubt the heart of this group is the cello. These two soloists, who also perform internationally, always strike a balance between classical and popular music. This cross-over project is, as their live performances at the biggest open-airs, film music arrangements and multi-vision shows prove, very out of the ordinary. The conglomeration of sound, perfection and arrangement can only be described as something worth hearing and seeing.
