25/08/2021 The Stage is Set for the Second Edition of musicpark! After a break due to the pandemic, the music experience fair for acoustic, mechanical and electronic musical instruments will be back at full volume from 11–13 June 2022. There will be musical instruments of all shapes and sizes on show across six exhibition areas. Dedicated areas encourage visitors to try out the musical instruments. Various stages promise goosebumps amidst the hustle and bustle of the fair, while special themed areas encourage visitors to exchange ideas. They all have one goal: To once again make it possible to experience the full variety and delight of musical instruments. 11/02/2021 musicpark will not take place in 2021 The pandemic development and the accompanying restrictions make it impossible for Leipziger Messe, exhibitors and participants from the musical instrument sector to reliably plan the music experience fair, which focuses on the direct experience of musical instruments, in June 2021. musicpark will not take place until 2023 After the cancellation of the 2021 musicpark due to the pandemic, Leipziger Messe has decided not to hold the event in 2022, either. The current pandemic situation is causing massive planning uncertainties with regard to the music experience fair since its focus is on trying out musical instruments as well as emphasising emotions, interactions and variety. Additionally, travel restrictions and the lack of recognition of some vaccines in Germany impose problems for international industry participants, guests and artists.
