The stage is set for the second edition of musicpark!

After a break due to the pandemic, the music experience trade fair will be back at full volume from 11 - 13 June 2022. Musical instruments of all shapes and sizes will be on show at musicpark in Leipzig. Visitors are invited to get to know instruments by playing them throughout six exhibition areas and testing zones, as well as at participative events in the well-loved PlayZones for beginners. Various stages will give visitors goosebumps amidst the hustle and bustle of the fair, while specially themed areas encourage the exchange of ideas.

Whatever your favourite instrument or genre, at musicpark everyone from beginners to professionals can experience their own style of music – from classical to jazz, rock, pop and electronic. The focus is on trying out, participating, seeking information and discussing, in addition to enjoying live music. The "Safe Expo" hygiene concept guarantees a safe and relaxed trade fair experience.

"At last, our exhibition halls will once again be filled with music", explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. "The industry is desperately looking forward to talking to customers in person again. And this is exactly what our unique concept will offer: By combining our wide-ranging exhibition with a range of hands-on experiences, we will be able to truly and sincerely demonstrate the thrill of playing music."

The event is being moved from November to early summer - as already planned for 2021 - and will in future run from Saturday to Monday. While the weekend will mostly cater to private visitors, the social programme on Monday will be tailored more towards the interests of young musicians and trade visitors.

Last but not least, Leipzig as a city of music and trade fairs is looking forward to a very special musical treat. The internationally renowned Leipzig Bach Festival offers an exciting additional attraction for musicpark visitors with an interest in classical music, and will be taking place at the same time as musicpark from 9 - 19 June.
