    More and more musicians and bands can't find a label, are offered very bad deals or just want to keep everything in their own hands! Wolfgang Rott has more than 35 years of experience in the music business, has worked in almost all areas of the music industry, from musicians to tour directors and concert organisers, and has been active in PR and marketing in the music industry for almost 30 years. Since more than 10 years his company CMM runs the label Service SAOL, which offers all services of a record company without collecting the rights! As an introduction to the lecture, there is a small overview of the development of PR and marketing possibilities in the last 15 to 20 years. Only modern computer programs and the Internet have opened up the possibilities of self-marketing. Wolfgang Rott shows examples of the possibilities of self-marketing.
