"Kassettenkind" is the first Deutschpop album of the artist from Leipzig. Her musical turning point. Modern sounds meet texts in the zeitgeist of today. It was no coincidence that the album was released on October 3, 2018, the Day of German Unity. Why: "On Kassenkind I tell pop stories with an (Eastern) soul. Go back in time and look at the modern today. Reports of the ups and downs in that generation that experienced the turning point and had to go their own way. Who changed sides - from east to west and from west to east and experienced the normal madness of everyday life. A pop album for generations who are born cassette children and live in the middle of our society," says NEA! from Leipzig. Together with violinist Shir-Ran Yinon (33, born in Israel, raised in Mannheim, now living in Leipzig), NEA! plays daily at the musicpark.
