Don't miss the exciting experiences of guitarist Alex Schlolpp, who is on the road with TARJA and the FARMER BOYS. Marcel Theneè, editor of the magazine guitar in the publishing house of PPV Medien, creates this interesting interview with Alex. More about the interview partner: Alex got his first acoustic guitar at the age of eleven, bought an electric guitar at 14 and founded his first band. At the age of 18, directly after his apprenticeship at Radio Musikhaus Barth in Stuttgart, Alex had his first major record deal, delivered four chart recorded albums with his band Farmer Boys and toured worldwide. He has also toured the world with his bands The Help (with Doug Whimbish on bass and Flo Dauner on drums) and Tieflader und Sinner and can look back on a number of studio engagements (including Die Fantastischen Vier). Since Tarja Turunen's departure from the Finnish metal gods Nightwish, Alex has been a regular guitarist with this exceptional singer, live and in the studio since 2007 and received a gold award for the album "My Winter Storm". Alex has been a guitar teacher for 15 years and founded his guitar school, "Alex Scholpp´s Guitar Camp", in Stuttgart in 2003. The guitar magazine "Guitar" engaged Alex as star author for 2 special issues with the title "School Of Metal" which were released in 2012/2013. Alex endorsed ESP guitars, Blackstar amps, Dimarzio pickups, SIT strings, Tech 21 and Zoom effects for which he regularly plays clinics.
