Dirk Brand

Dirk Brand completed his training with Ralph Humphrey (Zappa) and Joe Porcaro, among others, and worked for two years in California with various artists. As a reliable and innovative drummer he toured with soul legend Gloria Gaynor as well as with the renowned saxophonist Charlie Mariano, rock greats like Geoff Downes and John Wetton (ASIA) or Catherina Valente, Gitte Hennig and Angelika Milster. In addition to four specialist books for drummers, he is a guest lecturer at the Wilhelms University in Münster and is regularly available as a speaker or tutor to pass on his skills and experience to young drummers and percussionists.
