BSG9 - Modern Krautrock

BSG9 (also Bert Stephan Group) was founded in 2006. The musicians got to know each other during a jam session in which they complemented each other musically in such a way that they decided together to

to play together regularly. In the Bert Stephan Group the musicians improvise without agreements and specifications. The concert thus becomes a unique and not reproducible performance. Over the years, however, a certain musical style has developed - and this can be described as a powerful psychedelic rock, sometimes interrupted by free, partly jazzy passages.The seventies influenced the band a lot, but also bands and musicians like Miles Davis, Frank Zappa, CAN and Nils Petter Molvaer.
